Looking for wrap-around care nanny in/near Esher
About Me
We are looking for a caring, energetic, and reliable nanny to provide part-time wraparound care for our 3-year-old daughter in Esher, Monday to Thursday, with an immediate start.
The role mainly involves morning and afternoon school runs to and from Claremont Fan Court. In the mornings, this may include giving her breakfast, helping her get dressed, and dropping her off in time for 8:35 registration. In the afternoons, you would collect her shortly before 4:20 (potentially 3.15 depending on salary), prepare and serve her dinner, and keep her happily engaged until one of us gets home around 6:30–7:00. From time to time, you may also need to take her to after-school clubs.
We would love to find someone who can match our daughter’s high energy, academic interest, and creative curiosity, and who will help support her development in a stimulating way beyond conventional play and story time.
Sofia speaks English and Portuguese at home and has also had some exposure to Spanish and French, so any ability to encourage her language development would be a lovely bonus, although it is not essential.
My Requirements
Primarily wrap around care Mon-Thu (Mum stays with her on Fridays) but you would also have to be open to babysitting jobs for the odd day/night out.
The main aim would be for you to drop and collect her to / from nursery.
- Mornings: we would envisage something lighter, potentially feeding breakfast and / or simply dropping her off.
- Afternoons: will likely require more time with Sofia as one of us won't likely be home before 6.30 - 6.45. You may potentially even need take her to any after school clubs outside of school (tbd).
We'd want someone that can match Sofia's high energy, academic and creative curiosity, and will stimulate and challenge her development beyond conventional play and story times.
This is a live-out, part-time nanny position for fewer than 20 hours per week. We would also appreciate someone who is open to occasional babysitting during the odd day or evening. Light housekeeping related to the child, children’s laundry, meal preparation, cooking, bathing and dressing, and some extra help around the house, such as light cleaning or ironing, would be a plus.
You must have your own car, a valid driver’s licence, DBS clearance, and demonstrable childcare experience with references. If you are warm, proactive, and confident providing wraparound care from Monday to Thursday for a 3-year-old in Esher, we would be very happy to hear from you.
