Looking for wrap-around care nanny in/near Esher
About Me
Hi! We are a family of three who just moved to Esher, next to Sandown racecourse. Our little girl Sofia just turned 3 at end of July and we're now looking for nurseries for her.
We have upcoming tours with Danes Hill, Claremont, Notre Dame, and Milbourne Lodge and we're confident she'll start in one of these from September. You'd have to be willing to to drop-off and collect any of these at these stage, we won't really decide on school until we complete all tours by 21 Aug.
Sofia loves any and all activities to be honest. She's happy doing all sorts of physical activities like exploring the outdoors, dancing, singing, riding her scooter or her bicycle, or just running around. But also loves all sorts of challenging and developmental games with letters, numbers, and puzzles to all sorts of creative arts and crafts. Is incredibly happy reading loads of books and reciting them all back to her teddys.
Enjoys cooking with daddy and playing all her musical instruments! Never bored and the two of us never a minute of rest :-)
My Requirements
Primarily wrap around care Mon-Thu (Mum stays with her on Fridays) but you would also have to be open to babysitting jobs for the odd day/night out.
The main aim would be for you to drop and collect her to / from nursery.
Mornings: we would envisage something lighter, potentially feeding breakfast and / or simply dropping her off.
Afternoons: will likely require more time with Sofia as one of us won't likely be home before 6.30 - 6.45. You may potentially even need take her to any after school clubs outside of school (tbd).
If you're open to doing extra jobs around the house, such as cleaning / cooking / ironing that can also be a plus.
We'd want someone that can match Sofia's high energy, academic and creative curiosity, and will stimulate and challenge her development beyond conventional play and story times.
Sofia speaks English and Portuguese at home, and has had some good exposure to Spanish and French at her current nursery. While definitely not a requirement, someone that could continue to further develop her language skills would be advantageous.
You would need to have your own car and have DBS clearance, along with demonstrable experience and reference. Start - first/second week of September.
