About Me

Hey, I’m Mahlia and I am currently working within a primary school in devon with ages 10-11. I have worked here for three years now and absolutely love my job! I particularly excel within building positive relationships with children who may have experienced trauma. I have worked with many children who have.

Behavioural challenges are something I come very prepared for and have lots of experience with.

My education history includes completing my A-levels in English Language, English Literature and Politics.
I have also gained a Level 3 Teaching assistant certification.
I am currently studying a BA(Hons) degree in Education through the Open University.

I have been working as a teaching assistant with Teaching responsibilities (covering teaching and planning lessons) for three years. I have worked with very high need students (behavioural, holistic pastoral and SEND needs), and have built up very positive relationships a variety of skills!
