Welcome to HappySpace Academy
Hello, my name is Anisha and I am a Ofsted- registered childminder with a genuine passion for working with young children. I am also a parent to two children who attend Joseph Hood Primary School, which gives me a strong understanding of the importance of providing consistent, nurturing care.
I provide a safe, welcoming and homely environment with a dedicated play area where children are supported to learn, grow and achieve their developmental milestones. I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, planning age-appropriate activities that support each child’s learning and development while respecting their individual interests and pace.
I believe fresh air and outdoor experiences are very important for young children, so I regularly take children to the local park and on walks around the neighbourhood, helping them explore their surroundings safely and confidently.
I also provide healthy, home-cooked meals, taking into account individual dietary needs and preferences to support children’s wellbeing and development.
I have a friendly family dog, a German Shepherd called Ace. For parents’ reassurance, Ace is always kept in a separate area of the house while children are attending the setting.
My aim is for every child to feel happy, secure and loved , a true home away from home. I also offer school drop-offs and pick-ups and work closely with parents to ensure each child’s needs are met.

My Experience
I have experience caring for babies and younger children.
Being a mother has given me hands-on, practical experience in caring for young children from birth through to school age. I have developed a strong understanding of children’s routines, emotional needs and developmental stages, including feeding, sleep, play, and supporting learning through everyday experiences. Parenting has also helped me build patience, empathy and strong communication skills, allowing me to respond calmly and confidently to children’s individual needs while creating a nurturing and secure environment where they can thrive.
My Qualifications
I am First aid qualified.
I have experience caring for babies and young children.
I have completed childcare training.
Level 3 in Food and hygiene.
My Availability
Opening hours - 08:00am - 5:30pm
Can be flexible if needed.
My Fees
- Childminding from £8.50 per hour
£80 day rate - includes breakfast, 2 snacks and lunch.
£10 for morning drop offs - includes breakfast ( 08.00am to 09.00am)
£25 for afterschool pick ups - includes after school snack
Pick ups from Joseph hood primary school & Wimbledon Chase primary school

I’ve left my niece and nephew with Anisha several times, and every time I go to pick them up, they’re absolutely glowing with joy and excitement, often asking if they can stay a bit longer! What really stands out to me is that beyond engaging them in fun and educational activities, Anisha also gently encourages good manners and positive habits, like tidying up after playtime and showing respect when interacting with both their peers and adults. I would wholeheartedly recommend Anisha to any parent looking for someone caring, trustworthy, and truly attentive to their children’s wellbeing

Anisha is lovely and has looked after both my 4 year old son and 8 year old daughter, ensuring a happy, safe environment, which is clean, tidy and very homely. My children have always come home with big smiles on their faces and happy stories to tell about their time with Anisha. I feel relaxed in the knowledge that my children are being cared for by Anisha and wouldn’t go to anybody else to look after them!

Anisha is just great. She looked after my 3 year old multiple times over several weeks and was very nurturing and caring. Anisha has a gentle way with little ones, ensuring they're always safe and happy. I'd definitely recommend her to any parent looking for help with childcare!

I highly recommend Anisha as a childminder. She is calm, patient and very understanding with children and goes above and beyond to ensure they feel welcome and safe. The premises also provide a great space for children to grow and engage in a variety of activities. My son enjoyed it here so I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nurturing environment for your child.

Anisha took great care of our little girl! She is really kind and gentle, you can clearly see she loves children, and children love her! My daughter had so much fun. Anisha set her house up to accommodate the children and make it have everything a child could want or need. I would 100% recommend Anisha to look after anyones child.
Anisha has a very nice outdoor space where children can play as well, which is a bonus!

Anisha is one of the best Childminders I have used. Her provision is safe and secure and she goes above and beyond in looking after the children in her care. I have a son who is on the Autism Spectrum and has been going to stay with Anisha for a number of years. He only goes to her as he feels safe and happy with her compared to other providers .
Anisha provides healthy choices of meals and always take the children outdoors weather permitting so they get their daily dosage of exercise . My son always seems very happy and full of life when he comes back home from Happy Space Academy.

I would recommend happy space academy to anyone looking for childcare as the provider is just amazing with children, so understanding with the kids and generally a very caring person.
The space is set up nicely enabling the kids to be able to participate in different activities including messy play and there is also a garden space for free play.
