Safia
Babysitter in Nottingham
My Summary
About Me
Hi! I’m 25 years old and a recent university graduate. I grew up in a big family as one of the oldest of seven siblings, so caring for children has always been a natural part of my life.
I’m currently working part-time as a nanny for an NHS doctor, caring for her 18-month-old child, a role I’ve held for the past year (reference available). I have some additional availability and would love to take on more childcare opportunities.
Throughout my education, I completed regular work experience placements in daycares, gaining hands-on experience with children of different ages and developmental stages. During university, I also worked part-time as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school, supporting both teachers and pupils in the classroom.
In addition, I’ve babysat for several families over the years and genuinely enjoy building strong, trusting relationships with both children and their parents.
I’m reliable, responsible, and bring a warm, caring approach to childcare—whether that’s helping with homework, planning fun activities, or supporting daily routines. I’d love the opportunity to support your family!
My Experience
I have extensive experience working with young children and am currently a part-time nanny for a 2-year-old. In this role, I support an NHS doctor, including assisting with on-call and night shifts, so I am confident managing evening routines, overnight care, and maintaining a calm, structured environment. A reference is available upon request.
Alongside this, I have regularly provided childcare for multiple families, caring for children of various ages. My responsibilities have included planning activities, preparing meals, supporting bedtime routines, and helping with homework. I am trusted by parents to create a safe, calm, and engaging environment for their children.
During my time at university, I continued to build on this experience through consistent nannying and babysitting roles, strengthening my ability to adapt to different family needs and routines.
Prior to university, I completed monthly work experience placements in local daycares. These gave me valuable insight into structured early years care, where I supported staff with activities, supervision, and nurturing children in group settings.
Overall, these experiences have helped me become a confident, reliable, and caring babysitter who genuinely enjoys supporting children’s development and wellbeing.

Needed an emergency babysitter and Safia was available luckily. Very lovely, on time, looked after my little one really well. My little one doesn't take to people easily but he did with her. Would have Safia as our babysitter when needed again✨️
