About Me
I'm 21 years old and currently doing a counselling course part-time. I'm looking for a part-time/full-time childcare job to gain further experience whilst also doing something I enjoy! I'm very patient and empathetic, qualities that definitely help me when working with children. I'm confident and outgoing, also perfectly happy with my own company. My hobbies include: yoga, crochet/knitting, reading, art, cooking/baking, and I love the outdoors. I'm probably more of a cat person but also love dogs, comfortable around any animals and happy to do the occasional dog walk if it's something I could do with the kids.
My Experience
I recently moved near London to be an Au Pair for 2 little girls (an 8 month old and a 3 year old). Being well organised, I managed to keep up with online study alongside the job role. My job involved morning and evening routines when the parents (both doctors) had long days. So this included breakfast, taking them to nursery and picking them up, bathtime and bedtime. There were also occasional full days with one or both of the children i.e., if one was sick and off from nursery. I cooked for the children and kept them entertained, for example, took them out to the park/colouring/playing outside. Since I lived in, I also enjoyed days off with the whole family.
My Qualifications
For my A levels I studied Psychology, Sociology and French. I have also completed a Diploma in Health and Social care and am currently at level 3 of my counselling studies. I'm happy to do any extra courses for a childcare role if required. I have a full DBS check on the update service for your peace of mind.
My Availability
I will be in lessons all day, every Friday until July and will need some time for self-study but otherwise super flexible. Happy to work full days or a few mornings/evenings a week.

- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
