About Me

Hello, my name is Anna, mum of two wonderful boys (aged 4 and 7)and an OFSTED registered childminder! I'm also a qualified primary school teacher with 15 years experience of teaching and leadership in an inner London school. Wood's Childcare has been open since September 2025 and I love using my passion and experience in child development to provide a warm, nurturing home-from home setting, offering a wholly safe and stimulating environment for the little ones in my care.

My setting has a sizable garden that backs directly onto beautiful woodland. I make the most of the natural surroundings, spending plenty of time outdoors exploring, playing and learning in nature.

I understand the importance of tailoring care to meet each child's individual needs. Whether it's engaging activities, outdoor adventures, or quiet time, every child is supported to thrive at their own pace.

My Experience

Child development is my passion and I have worked with children of all ages as a primary school teacher for the last 15 years. After having my own two children, I was inspired to bring this experience into my own home and set up Wood's Childcare.

My Qualifications

Degree in Primary Education with QTS status
OFSTED registered
Paediatric First Aid

My Availability

I am open Monday-Thursday, term time only, with some ad-hoc school holiday cover available. Opening hours are 7:30am - 5:30pm, but these hours are flexible depending on each family circumstance.

My Fees

  • Childminding from £7.00 per hour

£7 an hour (minimum of 8 hours a day).
Includes - healthy snacks and drinks (water/milk), breakfast (if attending setting early), wipes and most outings.
Not included - lunch, dinner, nappies or baby milk.
