About Me
Hi I'm Ben I'm 25 years old (26 in November) and I'm just here to write a little bit about me.
I've grown up in Bristol spending my childhood with an interest in many different things. From playing all sorts of sports to acting and to many other things as I just loved to try all sorts of new hobbies. Having an older brother and sister also influenced me lots and I feel learnt and tried lots of new things from them as well.
As I got a bit older I leaned much more into the sports playing lots of cricket, tennis but more than all was Football. Moving now into secondary school at Redland Green my curiosity for new sports and hobbies was still with me and after seeing lots of older students/people I looked up to in my sisters year skateboarding thats when I started doing that. My secondary school experience was good keeping up with all my sports/skateboarding whilst also spending time doing other things like filming and photography as well as all my other school subjects. I wasn't very academic more so because I had a bigger interest in other things but I did always see the importance to study. I finished school with all GCSE'S and then moving on to do A Levels.
During A levels time is when I got more into videography and skateboarding and my past time was making lots of skateboard videos with my friends this is something I did for a very long time. I then started studying Contemporary Media Practice in London and meeting new people with different upbringings naturally I moved onto doing videography in other fields like music and also promotional video for brands. This lasted for a few years ending off with some traveling in Berlin spending 3 months there before moving back to Bristol in October 2024.
After the busy time working in London and travelling I got back to Bristol with quite a few sporting injuries meaning I could no longer play sport. Since then I've stopped skateboarding and been focusing on healing my injuries with tai chi. Now im ready to move on to the next chapter and really interested in working with children and would love to help out if I can :)
My Experience
In my school days I did evening baby sitting which I really enjoyed. I also did football refereeing weekly which was very enjoyable so this gave my experience with kids and working with the on different levels. Also having younger family I spent lots of time with them this gave my experience with younger children and spending time with them.
