About Me
My cosy, home-from-home childcare setting offers a nurturing and secure environment for children aged 6 months to 3 years. We pride ourselves on creating a space where little ones feel safe, valued and excited to learn through play.
Children benefit from a bright, engaging free-flow playroom with direct access to the garden, allowing them to explore indoors and outdoors at their own pace. We also enjoy regular trips out into the community, giving children opportunities to experience the world around them and build confidence in new environments.
To support early learning and prepare children gently for preschool, we follow half termly themed activities. These themes inspire creativity, communication, and independence while helping children build key skills across all areas of development.
With a warm, family-centred approach, we aim to make every day fun, meaningful, and full of opportunities to grow.
My Experience
I've been a Childminder since 2019, receiving multiple good and outstanding ratings from Ofsted and the Rutland Early Years Childminding Agency. My experience also includes working with children displaying challenging behaviours and those with special educational needs, ensuring every child's unique needs are met.
My Qualifications
I have all the relevant qualifications and In October 2025 I will be starting my BAHons Degree in Early Years
My Availability
Im open Monday-Thursday 0730-1730 all year round.
I do not offer wrap around childcare/school or nursery collections
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
£7.50hourly. everything but main meal are included.
I can provide lunch at £3.70 for a hot meal and a pudding provided by The Nursery Catering Company, or you can provide a packed lunch for your little one

Kristy looked after our first child for 2 years and in that time I never doubted that they were happy, well cared for and developing all sorts of skills. Kristy's is the perfect mix of a nursery and home setting that feels so personal for each child but also gives them the exposure to a busy, stimulating environment. Kristy always goes above and beyond to make sure all of the children are having an amazing time every day and that parents' lives are as easy as possible.
We love Kristy and her staff so much that our second child has been signed up since before they were born!

Our little boy flourished full time in Kristy’s care from 13 months to when he went to pre-school. She’s been such a big part of our lives that we’ve all come to see Kristy as part of the family - the trust we have in her is well earned and our little boy adores her and her setting. Kristy communicates clearly, with care and always with the child in mind first. She is always looking at ways to support her family’s more too, a big one being introducing a hot meal - this was a game changer for us and we appreciated all the time taken to research the best suppliers for this. Kristy’s setting is perfect for anyone looking to have their little one in a home from home setting with all the sensory and learning you could get in a bigger nursery (she goes all out decorating for each theme, the children are truly spoilt with all that’s available to them - as are we as parents). I’d highly highly recommend Kristy’s.

Our little boy has been welcomed into Kristy’s with such love and care. We couldn’t have found a perfect fit for our boy. He loves going to Kristy’s and can already see he has grown with confidence and has learnt so much already.
All of the girls at Kristy’s are just amazing! Couldn’t recommend anyone better.
