Hello everyone! My name is Ryan. I am a patient and enthusiastic tutor, supporting children from Primary 1 to Primary 7. My approach is play-based and active, using physical tools to make learning engaging and hands-on. I stand out by being fun, relatable, and dynamic, ensuring that every session is enjoyable and meaningful. Seeing children succeed and grow in confidence brings me so much joy, and I am passionate about making learning a positive and rewarding experience.
My Experience
I am a fully qualified teacher with four years of experience in Scottish schools. I specialise in phonics, literacy, reading, and numeracy, but I can also support learning across all areas of the Curriculum for Excellence. My focus is on building confidence and helping children enjoy their learning journey, ensuring they feel supported, motivated, and capable.
My Qualifications
Post Graduate Diploma in Primary Education with 4 years of in class teaching experience.
A Bachelors & Honours in Sport Development and Coaching .
All relevant Highers including Mathematics and English.
My Availability
Please see the attached table for my availability. I prefer in-person tutoring but can offer online sessions if preferred. To maintain quality support, I only take on a small number of students at a time, ensuring I can provide the best service possible. My availability is usually out of school hours as I currently have my own P3 class at a local primary school.
My Fees
- Tutoring from £20.00 per hour
£20 per hour of private tutoring in the primary subject areas you wish to be targeted.
