About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder with valuable experience working with children in a range of early years settings. I also currently work as a teaching assistant in a school nursery and also as a private nanny, which has helped me develop strong skills in supporting children’s learning, care, development and wellbeing. I am passionate about creating a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment where children feel happy, confident and supported. I live with my family, which includes myself and my three daughters, aged 18, 13 and 3, and being a parent has given me even more understanding, patience and experience in caring for children of different ages.
My Experience
I have a strong background in early years and childcare, with five years’ experience as a previous registered childminder, where I supported children’s learning, development, routines and wellbeing in a home-based setting. For the past six years, I have worked within a school environment across nursery through to Year 2, gaining valuable experience in supporting children at different stages of their early education, including their social, emotional, communication and learning needs. Alongside this, I have worked as a private nanny for a family for the last three years, providing consistent, nurturing and individualised care. I am currently studying to become an Early Years Educator, specialising in Special Educational Needs, and I am due to complete this qualification in December.
