My Experience
I have several years of experience babysitting for families in my neighborhood, caring for children of all ages and supporting their growth through fun and engaging activities. In addition to babysitting, I currently work as a Children’s Creative Practitioner at Sense Scotland, where I plan and deliver 1:1 creative and sensory-based activities for children and young people with complex support needs. I use art, crafts, and play to encourage communication, self-expression, and confidence, always prioritising safety and a child-led approach.
I have also worked as an Arts & Crafts Activities Coordinator for adults with disabilities, where I designed and facilitated inclusive creative sessions tailored to a range of abilities and support needs. This experience strengthened my patience, adaptability, and confidence in supporting individuals in a calm, responsive, and person-centred way.
My background in both babysitting and teaching has given me patience, adaptability, and the ability to engage children in meaningful, enjoyable experiences tailored to their individual needs.
My Qualifications
Masters of Art with Distinction in Illustration - The University of Edinburgh
Bachelor of Art with Second Class Honours (1st Division) in Contemporary Art Practice - Gray’s School of Art
