Hello! I am Kanu- a warm and imaginative companion for your child. I recently graduated from The University of Edinburgh with a masters in Comparative Literature. Being well read in child psychology, I truly believe that children deserve much more than a mere supervision-- they deserve a real human connection while you feel free to take care of your other responsibilities. I take the time to truly engage with my little clients, meeting them where they are, whether that means stepping into their world of make-believe, listening intently to their stories, or just offering them my presence when they are engaged on their own.
My Experience
With my background in literature and storytelling, I have worked in bookshops, child community initiatives, municipal schools, and literary projects, where I have kept young minds engaged, whether through imaginative tales, playful learning techniques, or hands-on activities like spending time in the park, building something, to nurture creativity and confidence. This diverse array has mad me develop understanding of how to connect with children in a way that feels natural and joyful, and I have learnt to adapt to each child's unique way of interacting with the world, making sure they always feel understood and valued.
My Qualifications
I just graduated with an MSc in Comparative Literature from The University of Edinburgh. I also hold a bachelors degree in Psychology and English Literature from Mumbai University in India. I'd be more than delighted to take first-aid courses as a preparation to care for your child, should that be a requirement for you.
My Availability
Anytime you need me. Whether you need occasional childcare of a more regular engagement, I’d be delighted to find a schedule that works beautifully for you and your child.
