My Requirements

Averaging 5 hours per week, with a mix of housework and looking after our son Charlie.

We’d pay a consistent weekly amount based on 5 hours/week, though the actual hours might vary a bit. Some weeks might just be 3 hours of housework, and others could be closer to 7 hours with a mix of housework and childcare.

The housework side would include a full clean of the house — vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, kitchen, tidying, as well as folding and putting away laundry, etc. On other weeks, the role would also include helping with Charlie — picking him up, playing, dinner, bath and bedtime.

Here’s a rough idea of how the weeks might look:
Week 1: Thursday – 3 hours (flexible time, full house clean + laundry)
Week 2: Thursday – 2pm to 9pm (full house clean earlier in the day, then pick up Charlie at 5pm, dinner, bath, and bedtime)
