About Me
Hi, my name is Ellie
I have one daughter she is 13 years old and absolutely adores children and they love her as she enjoys joining in with their play and is incredibly attentive towards them. Within our home we have Rocky our lovable Jack Russell he also adores children. And Minnie the cat.
I am a person that is dedicated to supporting children’s growth and development, providing a fun and engaging environment. This includes plenty of trips to the park enjoying nature, providing outdoor learning as the children play and have lots of fun. Also trips to our local library.
My childcare setting is based at my home, I have an outside area made specifically for the children this includes a slide, water wall, tuff tray, large chalkboard and lots more. In the summer this area is covered by a large canopy.
Inside there are many play areas, from pretend play items such as a kitchen and shop, an interactive table for cars and farm sets. A story time space, creative building, puzzles and much more. And an area for arts and crafts.
My Experience
Being a mum I have the knowledge, experience and understanding of childrens growth and development needs. This also includes on the Autism Spectrum.
My Qualifications
Level 3 award in childcare
Safeguarding children Level 1 and 2
Prevent awareness
Level 3 Paediatrics First Aid
Food safety & Hygiene Level 2
I have also completed a course with Allergy Wise by Anaphylaxis UK
My Availability
• My setting is open Monday to Thursday 8am-6pm, Fridays 8am-5.30pm. I am flexible with these times should you need childcare earlier.
• All year round
• I drop off and pick up at St Paul’s C of E Primary School in chessington.
• I also have availability for school summer holidays and half terms

My daughter has been staying with Ellie for a year now, and she's really good with children. She teaches my daughter to read, write, and read stories. Because I'm not good at English, she even helps me with my daughter's homework. During school holidays, she takes my daughter to the park, softplay centers, and the library. She truly has a lot of affection for children. I highly recommend her.
