About Me

Hello, I’m Teresa, the owner of Teresa’s Tiny Tots. I have a degree in Early Years Education and 15 years of primary teaching experience. In 2025, I decided to leave teaching to follow my passion for early years and open my own childminding setting.

I’m also a mum to two wonderful daughters, aged 6 and 3, so I understand the importance of providing a safe, nurturing, and loving environment where children feel happy and secure.

I offer a warm, home-from-home setting where children are encouraged to learn through play, explore the outdoors, and grow in confidence. I love planning fun, hands-on activities that support each child’s individual interests and development, while building strong relationships with families to help every child thrive.

My Experience

I have over 14 years of experience as a primary school teacher and chose to leave teaching in 2025 to follow my passion for early years and spend more time with my young family. I opened my Ofsted-registered childminding setting in September 2025, where I provide a warm, home-from-home environment that nurtures children’s learning, development, and confidence through play and outdoor experiences.

My Qualifications

I hold a degree in Early Years Education and a Homebased Childcare qualification, with over 14 years of experience as a primary school teacher. I am Ofsted registered, Paediatric First Aid trained, hold an enhanced DBS check, and have completed safeguarding training. I regularly update my knowledge through professional development to provide the highest standard of care and early education.

My Availability

I am open 39 weeks of the year term time only with the occasional day in the holidays.
