My Summary

My Experience

Over the past four years, I’ve had the opportunity to care for children of many different ages, from 6 months to 13 years old, in several European countries.

My experience includes caring for groups of siblings as well as individual children. I’ve looked after babies, toddlers and older children, adapting my approach to each child’s personality, needs and stage of development (I consider this really important)

I have strong experience with neurodivergent children, including autistic children (both verbal and non-verbal) and a child with ADHD. These experiences have helped me develop patience, sensitivity and emotional awareness. I strongly believe that children don’t need to be stopped from feeling their emotions, they need to be understood, supported and comforted while learning how to navigate them. We’re not born knowing everything, so we have to learn things bit by bit!
Being with children and supporting them in their daily activities is something I truly enjoy. I love encouraging creativity, imagination and curiosity, and I try to make everyday routines as engaging and enjoyable as possible. Healthy emotional and developmental growth is very important to me, and I do my best to contribute positively during such an important stage of life.
I value building a relationship of trust with both the children and their parents. I understand that trusting your children with someone new can be difficult, so I always aim to create a safe, respectful and caring environment where everyone feels comfortable and supported.
I like to be the kind of person a child can feel is there for them, someone they can count on, for hugs, protection, help, anything they need.

My most recent experience was in Austria, as an au pair caring for a 3 year old girl and a 5 year old boy.

My Qualifications

I finished high school in 2019. Since then, I’ve been gaining international experience as an au pair, which has helped me grow a lot both personally and professionally. In the future, I plan to study Chemical Engineering, as I’m very interested in creating my own products in a more sustainable and environmentally friendly way

My mother tongue is Brazilian Portuguese. I also speak English fluently and I have a basic level of Spanish. I can understand and speak the basics of French, German, and Dutch.
I’ve always had a strong interest in learning languages, and I usually learn quite quickly, especially when I’m surrounded by the language in daily life.

I started learning English when I was 9 years old through music, and living in Europe, especially in the UK, helped me become fully fluent!

My Availability

I am available Monday to Friday, both in the mornings and afternoons.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

£12 per hour (Monday to Friday).
