My Experience

For two summers, I was a bunk counsellor at a sleepaway camp, looking after a cabin full of brilliant girls aged 7-13. My job involved keeping them safe, happy, and entertained, organising games and talent shows to calming bedtime giggles.

After my first summer, I was promoted to Supervisor, where I led a team of counsellors, planned activities, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Working at camp taught me patience and adaptability, as well as how to handle any challenge that comes my way. Whether it was keeping up with energetic campers, resolving conflicts, or ensuring that every child felt included and cared for, I loved creating a fun, safe, and positive environment where the kids could really thrive.

This summer, I had the rewarding job of part time nannying/ babysitting a toddler which I very much enjoyed, so I also have experience with this younger age group.

My Qualifications

I have a basic first aid qualification and a complete enhanced DBS check.

My Availability

Available in Guernsey late May -mid August (dates and times flexible). Technically available all week (within reason!). Available for evening and weekend babysitting in and around Cardiff in term time.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
