About Me

My name is Amina, I am a mum to 3 boys, 13,12 and 3 years old and a registered Childminder.

I am passionate about books, reading and bringing stories to life.I know children learn best through play and I like to be as imaginative and fun as can be.

My setting enables children to have the freedom to explore with lots of resources, from messy play to books and educational toys, that are at height level, so children can have that curiosity approach in their play and learning.

I have a safe and engaging outdoor play environment, with sand, mud and water activities as well as ride on toys and space to play freely.

My Experience

First and foremost I am a mother and know the feeling of wanting to make sure your child is looked after and cared for with the right person. I have worked with children in various jobs over the years.
Most recently I was a Primary School Librarian working with children from Nursery age to Year 6.
Before that I was Nanny to two children from 6 months until 3 years old. I have been a teaching assistant in a primary school and a tutor.

My Qualifications

I am First Aid Trained
I have training in the EYFS
An enhanced DBS
Training in Prevent Duty and FGM
