About Me
Looking for a full-time nanny for my 7-month old daughter, starting from January to April 2026
My Requirements
Hi nannies,
We live in Canton area and we are looking for a nanny who is going to look after a 7 month old from 5 January to 7 May 2026.
Working days would be from Monday to Thursday, from 9:30 to 16:30.
Nanny’s requirements:
- First aid training
- Food hygiene certificate
- Safeguarding certificate
- DBS check
- Childcare qualifications
- Experience with working with babies from 0 to 12 months
We were thinking of a rate around £13.50 p/h.
Additionally, we’ll be getting married in Sicily on 30 May 2026 and we would like the successful candidate to accompany us and care for our baby during the wedding celebrations. All travel and accommodation expenses will be covered.

We initially had a very positive impression of Elisha - she was friendly and engaging during our first call and we were genuinely excited to have her join our family as a nanny starting in January. We agreed on all the details well in advance (hours, pay, start date and even planned for her to join us at our wedding abroad) and she confirmed everything both verbally and in writing.
However, after that initial enthusiasm, communication with Elisha became increasingly inconsistent and disappointing. Despite multiple polite follow-ups over several months, she repeatedly failed to send her promised certifications and stopped replying altogether when it came time to confirm a visit with our baby. She had initially agreed to come meet us in September and then simply never followed through or communicated any change of plans.
It’s extremely unprofessional to leave a family waiting and guessing for weeks - especially after confirming all the details of employment. We understand that plans can change, but disappearing without a word is unacceptable when a family is counting on you.
Sadly, based on our experience, I would not recommend Elisha to anyone looking for a reliable or communicative nanny.
