About Me
Hi, I'm Amy, a 32 year old mum and step-mum to four amazing kids! I've lived in Fitzwilliam since i was three, in a one-of-a-kind converted petrol station that's become a fun and loving family home. With years of hands-on parenting experience, i've created a childminding space that's safe, welcoming and full of play. I believe in letting kids be kids - messy play, outdoor adventures, cosy storytimes, and everything in between. My goal is to make every child feel at home, supported and happy from the moment they walk through the door.
Being a childminder isn't just a job for me - Its a passion rooted in my everyday life as a parent.
My Experience
Since starting childminding, I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience caring for children of different ages and stages, in addition to my own family experience. I’ve enjoyed supporting their learning and development through play, routines, and creative activities, and have built strong relationships with both the children and their families. This experience has helped me grow in confidence and deepen my understanding of how to provide a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment for every child in my care.

DSL - designated safeguarding lead, in-person course.
