My Experience
I started my journey into childcare 20 years ago and have now been a nanny for 16 years. Before being a nanny I worked in a day nursery and at a primary school.
I have been with my current family for 3 years and will be staying with them on slightly reduced hours the children are now 7 and 10.
Before having my baby girl I worked 2 days a week in a day nursery where I was primarily based in the baby room.
My previous nanny families have had children ranging from newborn to 10 years old. But I’ve continued contact and babysitting with many of these children still, with one of them just turned 25!
My Qualifications
I have my paediatric First Aid training (March 2026) and have my DBS.
I do training throughout the year at my position in a day nursery.
I have my NVQ 3 in childcare.
My Availability
I am looking for a part time position with some flexibility to be able to bring my daughter. Though she will be with my husband when he is off and will be spending time with grandparents. Days and hours are currently flexible
I would consider some weekend work as my husband is a shift worker at Gatwick airport. So please message if this would be of interest!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
