About Me
I live with my husband and three children in Dorset. We are a friendly family with two friendly cockapoos. All of our children are autistic, our two youngest attend mainstream with support and our elder daughter is secondary age and educated at home with the help of tutors.
My Requirements
We are looking for tutors for History, Science and Art who are able to teach from year 9 to GCSE level. We are looking for people who are experienced and/or interested in teaching children with autism and anxiety and who can take a patient and compassionate approach. Our children do not display difficult or violent behaviours but have some anxiety and self confidence issues which can be a barrier to learning at mainstream school. My daughter is very intelligent she just needs teachers who can bring out her confidence in her abilities.
