About Me

We are looking for a warm, reliable and experienced nanny to care for our three children (aged 4.5, 2.5 and 11 months) in our family home. The eldest is at school during term time.

Location: Wantage
Start: ASAP
Hours: 5 days a week or 4 days a week (Monday-Wednesday & Friday changing to Monday- Thursday from June). 7:45am to 5pm but could accommodate 9-5 on some or all of the days.
Salary: To be discussed depending on experience

This is a busy role, and we are looking for someone experienced and confident caring for multiple young children, including a baby, and able to manage routines calmly and independently.
I work from home, and the children manage fine with this but I do keep out the way during the day unless I’ve got time to spend with them.

The role includes:
• Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Supporting daily routines (meals, naps, bedtime where needed)
• Taking the children out to parks, classes and playdates
• Keeping children’s areas tidy and organised
Preparing balanced and healthy meals

No housework or washing expected other than a quick tidy up after playing and meals! Primary focus is making sure the children are happy and settled.

We are both working parents, so reliability and communication are really important to us. We are looking for someone dependable who takes initiative and can provide consistency and stability for the children

We have two dogs at home and horses down the road.

Requirements:
• Previous nanny experience in a home setting with multiple young children and confident caring for a baby alongside older children
• Excellent references
• DBS and paediatric first aid (or willing to obtain)
• Driver preferred but not essential
