Jennifer is everything you could hope for and more

Without going into too much detail, we moved our child to Jennifer’s setting after a difficult experience at a local (OFSTED Outstanding) nursery, where it transpired that our child was being cared for by a revolving door of different agency staff every day and was struggling to settle with the lack of consistency. We feel *incredibly* lucky to have found Jennifer. From the very start, it was clear we’d found somewhere really special.

Jennifer’s setting is warm, calm, and full of joy. From our very first visit, we noticed that the children in her care are happy, relaxed, and surrounded by kindness. Jennifer made the settling-in period gentle and reassuring. There’s a beautiful back garden space with outdoor play equipment, and her team really make the most of this. For example, during the recent heatwave, the babies got to cool off and play in a paddling pool and engage in water play with an outdoor Tuff tray. We also love that the children regularly go on local outings (they head to parks, soft play, the woods, and more) giving them wonderful experiences and opportunities to move and play in different places.

Jennifer puts so much thought into everything she does, from her healthy, home-cooked meals to the diary updates and lovely photos she sends us. She shares our values around food, screens, outdoor play, and gentle communication and it shows in the atmosphere when you walk in the door and see the way the children play and interact both with each other and with adults.

She has managed our son’s allergies with the utmost care and attention and we feel he is in the safest possible hands.

Our child is flourishing, and we recommend Jennifer and Lullaby Lane to anyone looking for nurturing, joyful and thoughtful childcare.
