Gloria
Babysitter in London
My Summary
About Me
I am an experienced nanny with over a decade of hands-on experience across London, Ibiza, and Germany. Drawing on my academic background in Psychology and having a newly completed MSc in Health Psychology from King's College London, I bring an evidence-based, developmentally informed approach to childcare.
This means I create age-appropriate activities, maintain consistent routines, and calmly handle emotional or behavioral challenges. My multilingual abilities in German, English, and Spanish, along with an artistic flair, help me provide fun, engaging learning experiences - whether teaching life skills like swimming, cycling or inline skating, and supporting busy family routines.
Based in central London, I am accessible for both short-term and long-term roles.
My Experience
Over the years, I have worked with children from ages 2 to adolescence across diverse family structures and circumstances - gaining practical expertise in managing diverse developmental needs and family structures. My approach is empathetic and evidence-based, guided by developmental psychology principles.
I have become an integral part of several families, even witnessing special moments like parents’ weddings. Whether it is fostering continuity in an atypical schedule or offering enriched developmental support, I aim to empower children to thrive and grow.
My experience spans:
• Private nanny roles managing rotating schedules, coordinating consistent routines, and resolving continuity challenges in multicultural households
• Seasonal nanny work in Ibiza, providing flexible, reliable support for families during holidays
• Three-month placement as a childcare worker in a German kindergarten, observing professional diagnostic methods for early learning difficulties
• Supporting children with autism and speech delays, gaining practical expertise in emotional regulation, tailored learning, and behavioural management
I am now seeking a family that values reliable, well-qualified childcare and appreciates the added benefits of my academic and multicultural background.
My Qualifications
• MSc in Health Psychology from King's College London (completed 2025) and BSc in Psychology (2:1 Honours) - bringing evidence-based, developmental knowledge to childcare
