About Me
Hi! I'm a friendly, empathetic, and creative babysitter with several years childcare experience, spanning babysitting, piano teaching and working as a teaching assistant. I am currently a student at the University of Bristol completing a master's in Psychology of Education.
I pride myself on developing strong relationships with both the children I work with and parents, and I believe in creating a safe and playful environment whilst maintaining consistent boundaries. I am also a singer, songwriter & music producer with a love for reading and baking!
My Experience
Since 2023, I have been teaching beginner-level piano to children aged 5-10, tailoring my lessons to fit their individual needs. I have been babysitting since 2017, providing support for neighbours and family-friends, as well as for my piano students outside of lessons, assisting with homework and engaging children in creative activities and games. I have also worked as an EFL (English as a Foreign Language) Teacher, planning and delivering English lessons to groups of up to 17 students, and as a Teaching Assistant, working 1-1 with students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.
My Qualifications
Currently studying a Master's in the Psychology of Education
CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching for Adults): Grade A (highest grade)
Bachelor's of Music from the University of Birmingham: First Class with Honours
A Levels in English Literature, History, and Music: AAA
GCSEs: 8 A*s, 2 As
My Availability
As I am a master's student with a varying schedule, I am happy to provide adhoc babysitting, including evenings & weekends.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
I do not own a vehicle, so fees would include any transport fees.
