About Me
I am a nurse and have worked both privately and in the NHS for over 20 years. I live in a spacious end terraced with a big garden. I spent a lot of weekends looking after several nieces and nephews. I have a dog (dalmatian) called Dixie. She is very friendly with people but doesn't like other animals. Dixie likes a lot of attention therefore she attends doggy daycare when children are in the home so i can be fully focused on them. I like being out in nature, going to the park. I have lots of nieces and nephews and love having fun days out with them. My passion is to look after children, providing them with a home from home and giving the best start in life, preparing them for the future and having fun.
My Experience
I am a Registered mental health nurse with over 20 years experience of working with very complex and troubled children with mental health difficulties. More recently i have managed a CAMHS team, supervising staff who carry out neurodiversity assessments. Most of the children i have supported have had additional needs. I have vast knowledge and experience of supporting neurodiverse children. I have specific autism training, positive behavioural support training and lots of patience. I remain calm in challenging situations.
My Qualifications
Bachelors degree in mental health nursing
Counselling Diploma
Prevention and management of violence and aggression (PMVA trainer)
Paediatric and adult First Aider
My Availability
Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
£70 per full day (between 8am and 6pm)
£35 per half day morning (8am to 13:00 or 13:00-6pm)
Breakfast club with school drop off £5
After school club including pick up from school and hot , nutritional meal £15
