My Summary
About Me
I live alone in an end terraced house that has been extended with a downstairs toilet to make toilet training easily accessible and also prevents accidents on stairs. I have a large garden with artificial grass and lots of outdoor activities, slide, trampoline, football, basketball, sand and water table. Blackleach country park, Clifton Country park, St. Marys park are just a few of the beautiful places to visit just 5 minutes from home.
My passion is to provide a home from home, one where I would feel safe leaving my own family members. I want to leave a lasting impression on children's lives, providing secure attachments and preparing them not just to be ready for school but for their whole lives ahead. Every child will have their own 'journey book' to document their time in my care. This documents progress for their two year check up and also makes a lovely keepsake for the future.
My Experience
Over 20 years experience providing individualised care to children and young people with mental health difficulties including neurodiversity, sensory disorders and speech delay. I have an exemplary record in nursing. I am honest, reliable, hard working, trustworthy, kind and patient.
My Qualifications
Bachelors degree in mental health nursing
Counselling Diploma
Early Years Foundation Stage government modules
Prevention and management of violence and aggression (PMVA trainer)
Paediatric and adult First Aider
Positive behavioural support training
Autism awareness training
Therapeutic approach training
My Availability
Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
***Funded places available***
£70 per full day (between 8am and 6pm)
£35 per half day morning (8am to 13:00 or 13:00-6pm)
Breakfast club with school drop off £5
After school club including pick up from school and hot , nutritional meal £15
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at North Walkden Primary School
