Adventurous and full of energy and life. I have worked with children as a nanny and in a support role for many years. I am arty and creative and enjoy a wide range of artistic pursuits. I love to encourage learning and development in children through play, games, art and sport. I am very fit and never tire in my many roles. I have special needs qualifications and experience to bring to the role. I love animals and volunteer for a rescue charity and spend lots of time with my rescue dogs. Working with children has taken up alot of my life and I strive to open up their minds to the world, nature and art. Well travelled and traditional I enjoy reading books and riding my bike.
My Experience
Since 2018 I have worked privately for families as a part time nanny. I have childcare qualifications necessary for a registered Ofsted nanny and a current DBS. Duties included preparing meals, school runs, supervising play and interacting with the children playing games inside and outside as well as art activities. I am happy to do household chores including laundry, tidying up the house, keeping the kitchen clean and the children’s rooms and spaces. I am flexible with timekeeping and prepared to work extra if your work day is running or late or if something crops up. Extra hours are welcome.
I am adaptable to changes and reliable, as an Ofsted registered nanny I provided house support during the 2020 covid lockdown to a four year old boy whose mother worked as an NHS doctor. I supported and assisted with school work which was delivered via zoom. Through Chess I discussed problem solving, decision making and self control.
With over 20 years experience in schools I am well practiced to support numeracy and literacy development. Therefore homework support is an option. Whilst my passion for all things art could prove useful in cultivating and encouraging children to be artistic.

NVQ Level 2 certificate in understanding working with people with mental health needs.
