About Me
We’re a family in Chorley with three kids aged 5, 8, and 9 and we are home educating them. Our home is calm and friendly. We are looking for a kind and reliable childminder and teaching assistant to support our family.
My Requirements
Hiring: Family Learning Facilitator (Mon–Fri 9–3, £13.45/hr, local to Chorley)
I’ve built an AI-led home-ed app that does the teaching. We’re looking for a calm, organised adult (21+) to supervise and support our 3 kids (9, 8, 5) so I can focus on work (I’m home most of the time).
Hours: 9:00–15:00, Mon–Fri (30 h/wk)
Contract: Six-month initial (may extend) — treat as a 6-month minimum
Pay: £13.45/hr (Real Living Wage)
What you’ll do: run simple learning stations, smooth transitions, daily outdoor time, basic snacks, tidy/reset, quick daily log.
This isn’t tutoring or housekeeping — it’s care + learning logistics.
Must have: 21+, right-to-work, safeguarding-minded, confident with ages 5–11.
We fund: Enhanced DBS, Ofsted Voluntary Register, paediatric first aid.
Nice to have: Nursery/Early Years experience; driver.
