About Me
My name is Amelie Mellor, I am a university student looking for babysitting/childcare jobs in Leeds. I am studying Chinese and economics as my degree, hence am currently living in Shanghai til July 2026. Upon which I’m sure I’ll be readily available, and in desperate need of some earnings. My Experience
Through having a younger sister, 6 years younger, I have always been comfortable and confident in caring responsibilities for kids. I have cared for many families with kids and special needs children ranging from the ages of newborn to 15. I love to learn and teach new games, engage in art activities and am happy to take children out to play in parks. I also have experience in tutoring, in which I’ve helped with mandarin homework, maths gcse and ks2 maths. So when it comes to helping with homework I am always keen and patient to be of hand. I understand that your children’s safety is always a priority and can provide recommendations for reassurance.
My Qualifications
Currently I am studying economics and Chinese at the university at Leeds. Being at university I am yet to find the time (or money) to complete an early years practitioner qualification unfortunately. However, I hold both gcse and a level qualifications (for those interested in tutoring feel free to reach out).
My Availability
I am currently in China studying on a year abroad and will be back in the summer of 2026. From then I’ll be very much available, feel free to message me for more detail.
