My Experience

I have over 5 years of experience working in a nursery setting, caring for children from birth up to preschool age, with most of my experience being with babies and toddlers. This has given me a strong understanding of early development, routines, and the level of care younger children need.

As a key carer, I have been responsible for a group of children, supporting their daily routines, planning activities based on their interests and developmental stage, and tracking their progress through observations and assessments. I have experience supporting early milestones such as weaning, potty training, speech and language development, and building social skills.

My day-to-day role has included feeding, changing, settling children for naps, and creating a safe, engaging environment through play-based learning. I am confident managing multiple children at once while still making sure each child receives individual attention and care.

Alongside my nursery role, I have also been babysitting over the past couple of years, where I’ve often cared for multiple children on my own. This has strengthened my confidence in working independently, managing routines such as evenings and bedtime, and building trusting relationships with families in a home environment.

I am patient, reliable, and adaptable, and I always aim to create a calm, positive environment where children feel safe, supported, and able to thrive.

My Availability

I am looking for a live-out nanny position with a family who values a warm, reliable, and professional approach to childcare.

I am open to caring for children of all ages and have a particular strength in working with babies and younger children. I am happy to care for multiple children and confident managing routines independently.

I am comfortable with all aspects of childcare, including planning activities, supporting development, preparing meals, nursery or school drop-offs and pick-ups, and maintaining routines. I am also happy to assist with light housekeeping duties and general household support where needed.

I am available for both full-time and part-time positions, Monday to Friday and possibly some weekends, and I am happy to discuss specific hours and routines to suit the needs of the family.
