About Me
Babysitter Available – Glasgow & Surrounding Areas | Experience Supporting Children with Additional Support Needs
Hi everyone!
I’m Niamh, a Student Learning Disability Nurse at university, and I’m currently looking for evening and weekend babysitting work in Glasgow and surrounding areas. I have my own car, so I’m also happy to travel further and can be flexible around families’ needs.
I have 4+ years of childcare experience, including working in nurseries, early years, breakfast clubs, after-school care and providing one-to-one support for children aged 0–13.
I also have 3+ years’ experience supporting children with additional support needs, including one-to-one support for a child who is non-verbal. Alongside this, my Learning Disability Nursing studies and clinical placements have given me experience supporting children and adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.
I really enjoy working with children and am passionate about creating a safe, caring, fun and inclusive environment where every child feels comfortable, happy and supported. I’m enthusiastic about caring for children with additional support needs and am always happy to work with families to understand their individual routines and needs.
