I have recently relocated to the area and am looking for part-time employment.
I am a mother to 3 sons who are now grown up and are well established in their careers.
I enjoy being active and learning new things both indoor and outdoors.
My Experience
I have 40 years experience in healthcare having been trained as an Adult, Child and Occupational Nurse. I am no longer on the nursing register but my most recent employment prior to moving to Chester included working as a catering assistant in a care home for which I have been DBS checked. I also worked as a catering assistant on a seasonal contract and in a centre for adults who had learning disabilities on a casual contract. Tasks relating to these roles included carrying out personalised care, supervision of service users, initiating activities and trips, washing, ironing, some food preparation, washing up and general housekeeping duties.
My Qualifications
In school I achieved 8 O levels and 4 A levels. I trained as a nurse and completed a Post-Graduate Diploma with Cardiff University.
My Availability
I am reasonably flexible but wish part-time work with shorter shifts and avoiding late nights.
