Hello! My name is Daniela Martínez, and I recently moved from Colombia to the UK. I am currently living in Surrey and am excited to start working as a nanny or babysitter.
I have informal experience caring for children of different ages, especially babies and toddlers, through looking after family and friends' children. I am a responsible, caring, and patient person who enjoys spending time with children, playing with them, and helping them feel happy and safe.

My English is basic at the moment — I can understand most things, but I’m still working on improving my speaking. I am very motivated to learn and practice every day, and I hope to get better quickly with time and experience.
I have completed a First Aid course and am currently in the process of obtaining a DBS check.

My Experience
Although I don’t have formal childcare qualifications, I have several years of informal experience caring for children of different ages, particularly babies and toddlers. I’ve been responsible for looking after children in my family and for friends, which has allowed me to gain a strong understanding of children’s needs and routines.
I have experience with:
- Playing and engaging with children to keep them entertained and active.
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding.
- Supporting children with basic learning activities (e.g., simple language games, arts, and crafts).
I am a reliable, patient, and loving caregiver, and I am excited to continue building my experience while caring for children in the UK.
My Qualifications
- I have completed a general First Aid course that included some training in caring for babies and children. It was not a certified Paediatric First Aid course, but I gained useful knowledge and I am happy to take the official UK Paediatric First Aid course soon if needed.
- Native Spanish speaker – can help children learn or practice Spanish
- Informal childcare experience with babies and toddlers
- Currently working towards getting a DBS check

I am available full-time, from Monday to Saturday .
I am flexible with hours — mornings, afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends if needed.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
My usual rate is £11 per hour, but I am flexible depending on the number of hours or the family's needs. I’m happy to discuss this.
