Private SEN Maths Tutor Wanted (Face-to-Face)
We are looking for an experienced SEN tutor to support a 7-year-old child with autism and communication needs.
The tutor should have experience teaching children with SEN using a concrete, visual and structured approach to maths, including hands-on resources (such as Numicon, counters, cubes and other manipulatives), visual supports, and step-by-step teaching to develop understanding and confidence.
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children with SEN.
Is patient, engaging, and able to adapt learning to the child's individual needs.
Can build confidence through positive, structured teaching.
Location: West Drayton / Hayes area.
We are looking for face-to-face maths sessions at home or in a suitable nearby location.
Experience in SEN education, speech and language support, ABA-informed teaching, or working alongside occupational therapists or speech and language therapists would be highly desirable.
