My Experience

young age.
I started by volunteering at a nursery in Portugal for five years, where I supported daily routines and helped care for young children. Since then, I’ve always been surrounded by kids, I was the friend everyone trusted to look after their little ones!
More recently, I spent two years living in Ireland, where I cared full-time for two children: a 1-year-and-4-month-old baby and a 5-year-old boy. I was responsible for everything from meals and nappy changes to playtime, school runs, and bedtime routines.
Since January, I have been living in the United Kingdom. This experience has strengthened my ability to adapt to different age groups, be patient, organised, and create a safe and loving environment for children.

My Qualifications

I have extensive practical experience in childcare, gained through several years of volunteering in a nursery in Portugal and working as a live-in nanny in Ireland for two years, as well as providing occasional babysitting in Woking. These experiences have given me strong skills in creating safe, nurturing, and stimulating environments for children of different ages.

I am passionate about child wellbeing and development, with a keen interest in educational activity planning and language teaching (Portuguese and Spanish). I am also committed to continuous learning and am planning to pursue formal childcare qualifications in the near future.

I am a native Portuguese speaker and have a B2 level in Spanish, allowing me to support multilingual learning in children.
