About Me
Hello, my name is Sarah and I’m an Ofsted registered childminder based in Selby. I provide a warm, safe and welcoming home-from-home environment where children can learn, play and thrive.
I follow the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) to support children’s learning and development through fun, play-based activities that spark curiosity. Outdoor play, creative activities and exploring the world around us are all a big part of my setting.
I have completed all the required training, including Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding, and I’m fully insured. I work closely with parents to provide consistent care, routines and support, ensuring every child feels happy and secure.
I will be opening my doors to families from 8th September, and I look forward to welcoming children into my setting.

My Experience
I have several years’ experience caring for children of different ages, from babies through to year 6. Alongside raising my own children, I have supported family and friends with childcare, which has given me a strong understanding of routines, development and the importance of creating a safe, nurturing environment.
I have also completed all the training required to become Ofsted registered, including Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene and EYFS training, so I am confident in meeting children’s individual needs and supporting their development. I have a level 3 childcare qualification as well as level 4 higher level teaching assistant qualification.
I enjoy planning fun, play-based activities that help children learn new skills — from creative arts and messy play, to outdoor adventures and story time.
I’m passionate about helping children feel secure, confident and happy. I work closely with parents to provide consistency and build strong, positive relationships.
