About Me
Hello my name is Demelza and I am registered with Ofsted as a childminder in Saltash. I work from a purpose built annex which is set up solely for the children that I care for. There is a large selection of toys, and materials within a wide age range, which I can rotate to follow the children's interests. There is a large fenced decking area which is ideal for outside play, and is used as much as the weather allows. In the summer there is a gazebo to shield us from the sun.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare since 2006, primarily as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) in a pre-school setting. With nearly two decades of experience supporting young children’s development, I bring a deep understanding of inclusive early education.
I hold a degree in Early Childhood Studies and Psychology, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Education. Now, inspired by my mum's longstanding dedication to early years care, I am continuing the family tradition by becoming a childminder, offering a warm, nurturing, and developmentally supportive environment for children.
