My Summary
About Me
Hello, and thank you for stopping by.
My name is Emily, and I have a passion for supporting families in the first weeks after birth. I am a qualified Midwife but my capacity in this role will be that of a maternity nurse.
I offer maternity nurse services to complement NHS provided postnatal care; with a particular focus on overnight care, helping parents get the rest they need while knowing their baby is in expert, loving hands.
Whether you’re navigating the early days with a newborn, adjusting to feeding challenges, or just craving a few hours of uninterrupted sleep, I’m here to provide calm, professional, and nurturing support.
I offer:
• Overnight newborn care to support safe sleep, feeding, and gentle routine building
• Supporting you in feeding your baby in the way you choose
• Removing some of the weight and stress to enable holistic postnatal recovery care for parents.
• Practical help tailored to your family’s needs — always non-judgemental, always supportive
My availability is shaped around my NHS shifts, which are confirmed six weeks in advance — allowing you to plan ahead with confidence. In the near future, I also hope to offer voluntary support for families who may not otherwise have access to extra postnatal care, as I strongly believe in inclusivity and making support accessible to all.
If you’re looking for compassionate overnight care or early postnatal support, I’d be honoured to be part of your journey.
My Experience
As I currently work clinically I bring up-to-date clinical knowledge, a calm, nurturing presence, and a deep respect for how unique and emotional those early days with a newborn can be. I’m fully accustomed to night shifts and staying awake through the small hours. I have a current enhanced DBS check, and a full, clean driving licence.
I’m excited to offer private support to new/changing families, where I can dedicate quality time to each family. My goal is to empower families, build confidence, and help you feel rested, reassured, and supported every step of the way.
My Qualifications
1st class honours Midwifery degree. NMC registered Midwife. Enhanced DBS. Full driving license. In 2025 I plan to undertake courses in baby massage; aromatherapy and acquire certification as a postnatal Doula.
My Availability
My availability will vary week to week; however this will be known 6 weeks in advance.
