About Me

About us:
I’m a mum to two young children who are with me full time — a 2½-year-old and a 6-month-old baby — as well as an 8-year-old son who I share care of with his father.
We’re a friendly, busy household and spend a lot of time doing simple activities with the children. They especially enjoy being outdoors, going for walks, drawing, painting, singing, dancing and reading books. We also love animals and nature.
We have a very relaxed dog who mostly sleeps and a cat, so it’s important that anyone working with us is comfortable around pets.
Our home:
We’re a warm, friendly household and we’re hoping to find someone who will feel comfortable here and become a positive part of the children’s routine. I value kindness, patience and good communication, and I’m looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children and supporting their development through play and everyday activities.
I’d love someone who is proactive and enjoys planning simple activities such as crafts, reading, outdoor play, walks or trips to the park. Encouraging imagination, creativity and learning through play is really important to me.
We are also trying to significantly reduce screen time in our home. We prefer a play-based approach to childcare and value creativity, outdoor time and interaction over screens. The children are used to being engaged through play, books, music, crafts and outdoor activities, so we’re looking for someone happy to continue this approach.

My Requirements

Live Out Nanny
Housekeeper
Part Time Nanny
Household Help

I’m looking for someone who can look after my two young children in our home — predominantly my 2½-year-old son and also my 6-month-old baby.
Ideally I’d love someone who enjoys getting outside with children — taking my toddler for walks, going to the park, playing, reading books, doing simple activities, and generally engaging with him and helping him learn through play.
Limiting screen time is important to me, so I’m hoping to find someone who prefers interactive play, conversation, and activities rather than screens. Occasionally it would also be lovely if you could take him to a local toddler/play group.
Ultimately I would like someone who is comfortable looking after both children together so that I can get on with work and other things around the house. However, as the children are still very young and I’m naturally a little cautious with new people, I would like to build trust gradually at first so starting with my toddler and moving up to including the baby.
The role would include playing with the children, reading with them, doing simple activities, getting outside for fresh air and walks, playing in the garden and generally creating a calm, fun and nurturing environment.
I’m looking for someone part-time who is reliable, warm, patient and genuinely enjoys being around young children. The role would be in our home rather than sending the children elsewhere.
Being Ofsted registered would be a big plus but wouldn’t turn down the right candidate if they didn’t have this.
A few other things that are important to us:
• No screen-focused childcare
• A strict no-kissing policy for the children
• Non-smoker
• Someone happy to get outside for walks and fresh air
• Gentle, calm approach to childcare
• Ideally someone with experience with toddlers and babies
• Must be comfortable around pets.
We’re looking for someone kind, friendly and trustworthy who will feel like a positive presence in our home.
