Part Time Nanny Job in Isle Of Man
About Me
We are a family of 5 & we live in Castletown. I grew up on the Island but lived away, mostly in London, from the age of 18. I moved back to the Island with my husband and kids in 2021.
My husband and I both trained as doctors. My husband works as a public health academic - he does research on early childhood and climate change, he is also developing an app to support reading for 3-7 year olds. My brother has autism and severe learning disability. He requires 1:1 care 24/7. I manage his care. I am also a yoga therapist but have been on a break since having a baby last May.
We have three children aged 12, 10 & 11 months (1 in May 2025). I’m looking for part time child care for my 1 year old, for example 3-4 hours 2-3 times a week. I can be flexible on timing but would prefer mornings.

Cinaidah worked as a nanny for us for just over a year. She looked after our 1 year old for two days a week. She is the most wonderful person, warm, friendly, easy going. Our little one adores her. They had so much fun, playing in the park, going to music classes & play groups, chatting & singing together. She was a pleasure to have around the house, we all feel comfortable with her. She is also very hard working. When my little one was napping, she worked hard cleaning kitchen, tidying up, doing laundry. She uses her initiative seeing what needs to be done, and is open to helping with any tasks. My little one has started nursery and we no longer need a nanny. We are sad not to see Cinaidah each week. Whoever she works for next will be very lucky - She is passionate and engaged in her work with babies and toddlers. A very special person.
