We are looking for an exceptional nanny to become an important part of our family and a trusted presence in our child’s life.

Our son is 15 months old. He is a sweet, affectionate, curious little boy with lots of energy. He loves being outdoors, exploring new places, and interacting with the world around him. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with toddlers and is excited about supporting his development through play, learning, and new experiences.

What We’re Looking For

We would love to find someone who is:

* Warm, loving, nurturing, and patient
* Calm and gentle in the way they communicate
* Highly reliable and punctual
* Proactive and able to take initiative without being constantly directed
* Passionate about child development and early learning
* Looking for a long-term position and a genuine connection with our family
* Someone who can become a trusted, stable, and caring presence in our son’s life

We are hoping to find someone who feels like an extension of our family and who will care for our son with the same love, patience, and attention that we do.

Responsibilities

Childcare

* Providing attentive and loving care throughout the day
* Planning age-appropriate developmental activities
* Coming up with new ideas to encourage learning, creativity, language, and social development
* Taking our son to local playgroups, classes, parks, libraries, and other enriching activities
* Proactively researching and suggesting activities, groups, and experiences he may enjoy
* Encouraging outdoor play and exploration whenever possible
* Preparing and cooking healthy meals and snacks for our son

Household Support

We have a regular cleaner who handles the deep cleaning, so this is not a housekeeping role. However, we value someone who takes pride in maintaining a tidy and organised environment and naturally notices things that need doing.

This includes:

* Keeping children’s areas tidy and organised
* Tidying toys and activity areas throughout the day
* Helping maintain the general day-to-day organisation of the home

Holiday & Benefits

* 30 days paid holiday per year, plus all bank holidays
* Holiday dates will need to be in line with our family’s unless agreed otherwise. Typically take 2 weeks at Christmas, bank holidays and a lot of holidays in the summer.

Please Note

* The salary is £2,500-£2700 net per month.
* We are looking for applicants who are comfortable with the salary and hours advertised.
