My Experience

I’m a dedicated and passionate online tutor with over 15 years of teaching experience, helping children and adults reach their full potential. I believe that learning should be personal, enjoyable, and effective and online tutoring allows me to provide truly bespoke lessons tailored to each student’s needs. The results speak for themselves: my students grow in confidence, make excellent progress, and achieve fantastic results.

I specialise in preparing students for SATs and 11+ entrance exams, with many gaining places at top schools including Westcliff High School, Royal Grammar School Newcastle, the CSSE consortium of grammar schools, and the Harpur Trust schools. I also teach KS2 Maths and English from KS2 up to GCSE (KS4), as well as overseas students for their IGCSE examinations.

In addition, I’m a qualified tutor of English as a Foreign Language (EFL), supporting learners from around the world to develop their English fluency, accuracy, and confidence.

Before becoming a full-time tutor, I spent 15 years teaching in schools, where I built a strong understanding of how to motivate and inspire students of all abilities. My approach is supportive yet structured, helping every learner feel confident, capable, and excited to learn.

My Availability

I offer tutoring sessions from 7:00am onwards, perfect for early starters. School-hour slots are also available for home-schooled students. I have some afternoon and evening sessions open as well.

My fees are based on an hourly rate, which reflects the high level of personalisation and care that goes into every lesson. Each session includes all resources, tailored homework, and access to high-quality interactive learning platforms - there are no hidden extras.

Students receive weekly written feedback with an in-depth analysis of their progress, clear next steps, and specific areas to focus on, helping them stay motivated and see measurable improvement week by week.

30-minute sessions start from £30, with flexible options available depending on the student’s age, goals, and schedule.
