About Me
Hi, I am Sophie and I absolutely love working with children. I aim to provide a warm, welcoming, and homely environment where your child can feel safe, happy, and cared for. I believe children learn best through play, so I plan lots of fun, creative, and hands-on activities to spark their curiosity and help them grow in confidence. I treat every child as an individual, supporting their interests and celebrating their milestones along the way. I also value strong relationships with parents and carers, working together to make sure each child gets the very best start.
My Experience
I have nine years of experience working with children and young people, I have managed a children’s home for 5 years prior to becoming an childminder and previously worked as a support worker. These roles have given me a strong understanding of children’s individual needs and the importance of creating a safe, supportive environment where they can thrive. More recently, I have completed my childminding training and am excited to bring my knowledge and passion into my own setting. As a mum, I also understand first-hand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your little one, and I aim to provide that same reassurance for the families I work with.

Level 3 Paediatric first aid
First aid training
Safeguarding children and designated lead

Leading and managing childminding setting

My Availability
I have one space available for under 2 years full day Monday, Tuesday and or Thursday and flexible hours for five years and older Monday-Friday.

- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
