A passionate lover of the written word, i have spent the past 10 years delivering engaging tutoring in English language and literature and have achieved many successes with my students. I have experience of whole life education from ks1 through to mature learners. I have received first aid, child protection and autism awareness training from Herts county Council. A calm and approachable person with a strong sense of empathy, I take pride in building a rapport with my students and providing a nurturing environment where opinions are valued and learning is tailored to the individual’s needs.bj
My Experience
Over 10 years tutoring experience working with students who are struggling to reach the expected standard and those who are competent but wishing to reach the highest grades; students with SEN including dyslexia, autism, asbergers, ADHD and global developmental delay; school refusers; ESL students;and mature students seeking to gain GCSE equivalency or functional skills certificates.
