My Requirements

We are looking for an experienced and caring nanny at our house in Thames Ditton, KT7. We are ideally looking for 30 hours a week, and the below hours are required:

Monday - 8.30am-5.30pm
Wednesday - 8am-6pm
Thursday 7.30am-6.30pm

There may be flexibility for an additional 6 hours on a Friday for the perfect candidate (for a total of 36 hours per week) but ideally we are looking for 30 hours. The days of the week are unfortunately not flexible.

We are looking for someone who is experienced with looking after toddlers who can provide 1:1 support (and later 1:2 support once our second child arrives and I return to work) to our 19 month old daughter. We would like someone who can create fun and educational activities (ie. arts and crafts/music/books/garden activities) to keep my daughter engaged and entertained and continue her learning and development. We feel it is important for her to attend classes/play groups to continue socialising with children her own age, as well as age-appropriate outings which is why we would prefer to have someone who can drive (either with our car or their own car). Eating a healthy balanced diet is important and we would like a nanny who can prep meals to ensure she is having a range of meals.

I am currently expecting my second child, due in February 2027, and will therefore be on maternity leave for a year from February 2027. If there is a nanny who has newborn experience, this would be a bonus, to assist on an ad hoc basis. However, the expectation would not be to leave the nanny solely in charge of a newborn and toddler for an extended period of time, until the baby is older. Once I return to work, the nanny would have sole charge of both children for three days per week.
