We we definitely cannot recommend this nanny. We had a video call with her on a Friday. She told us, how important respect, trust and honesty are to her. Later that evening I told her, that we made our decision and we would like to hire her as a nanny as of the following Monday. She wrote that she was happy we have chosen her. I asked her to please send me her qualifications, references and proof of ID - no response. I send another message on Sunday - no response.
This behaviour is NOT very respectful and does not demonstrate her initial words about respectful treatment and honesty. At least a short message, stating she was not interested anymore, had been the minimum. Actions speak louder than words and her actions have not proven that Shanice is NOT a respectful, honest and trustworthy person. Also, ghosting the family that you were meant to work for after they asked you for proof of credibility is very suspicious.
