About Me
My partner and I are living in Pimlico and I am a mother of a lovely little boy, born in February 2025 and currently on parental leave. By the end of July I have to start to work again. My partner and I are well-travelled due to our jobs. We speak English, Spanish and German.
My Requirements
We are looking for a SELF-EMPLOYED nanny and not an employed nanny where we are responsible for their payroll. We can pay in cash or bank transfer. The nanny must have experience in working with newborn babies. We want someone who not only loves babies but also has the specific training, experience and legal clearances to keep our little one safe, healthy and thriving.
Some requirements are:
Education/degree in early childhood education or similar
Enhanced DBS Check
Paediatric first aid
Food hygiene

We we definitely cannot recommend this nanny. We had a video call with her on a Friday. She told us, how important respect, trust and honesty are to her. Later that evening I told her, that we made our decision and we would like to hire her as a nanny as of the following Monday. She wrote that she was happy we have chosen her. I asked her to please send me her qualifications, references and proof of ID - no response. I send another message on Sunday - no response.
This behaviour is NOT very respectful and does not demonstrate her initial words about respectful treatment and honesty. At least a short message, stating she was not interested anymore, had been the minimum. Actions speak louder than words and her actions have not proven that Shanice is NOT a respectful, honest and trustworthy person. Also, ghosting the family that you were meant to work for after they asked you for proof of credibility is very suspicious.
