I am a 19-year-old university student with a strong background in childcare, both personally and professionally. Growing up with younger siblings has given me early, hands-on experience in caring for children, which has been further enhanced by my current role at a daycare. My Experience
I have experience caring for my younger siblings and the children of family friends, which has given me a strong foundation in looking after kids in a home environment. In addition to this, I currently work at a daycare, where I’ve gained professional experience and training in childcare. This combination of personal and professional experience has helped me develop the skills needed to provide safe, supportive, and engaging care for children of all ages.
My Qualifications
I hold a Certificate in Safeguarding the Welfare of Children and Young People, as well as a Level 2 Certificate in the Common Core of Skills and Knowledge for the Children’s Workforce. These qualifications have equipped me with in-depth understanding of child protection, safeguarding procedures, child development, effective communication, and multi-agency working. I am trained in recognising and responding to signs of abuse, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children in both personal and professional settings. My DBS is currently in progress.
