About Me
I am a Single mum and carer for a wonderful little six year old boy who is autistic and has complex sensory needs.
I own my own business and from time to time need to take a break and need help with the night time routine so I can attend work meetings and may need to take a few hours or a day out over a weekend. I have limited support from my son’s father and no friends or family close by. We are on the NHS waiting list for additional support.
My Requirements
Chase is mostly non-verbal and will communicate by hand-leading, sounds or gestures. Chase may head butt the floor or wall when he is unable to communicate his needs and gets frustrated. He loves cuddles, building blocks, colouring in and looking at books. He is most happy during sensory play. He loves water play, sand and exploring different textures. Chase is not potty trained and is still in nappies, but he will sit on the potty for a no. 1 but does not know when he needs to go. Prompting is still required.
